Golf Day 2007

The afternoon began with a putting comp hosted by Nick Rouggos – winner of the 2006 Order of Merit. Prizes were kindly donated by Mr Warren Mercer – Resident Golf Pro at the Grange Golf Club.

• The Master of Ceremonies was Mark Soderstrom from Channel Seven, who did a brilliant job, encouraging the guests throughout the evening re the auction items and raffle.
• The auction was a success due to the additional encouragement from Tim Thredgold who did a fantastic job of auctioneering.
• The wine, kindly donated by Jacobs Creek the recently released ‘Three Vines’ series, was enjoyed by all.
• The winners of the Ambrose format golf afternoon was one of the Harvey Norman teams
• The team consisted of Sam Calabrese, Peter Collins, Mel Verstegen and Simon Leonow
